You can now track the live location of the officer attending your job via the Smart Security Platform.
Why has this been introduced?
We want to provide our clients with greater transparency and the ability to check the progress and ETA of officers travelling to a job in real time. We also want to reduce the amount of time clients spend trying to understand the ETA of an officer by calling our 24/7 support team.
How does it work?
- When the status of the job booking changes to 'Allocated' it will display the location of the property
- When the officer begins their journey to the job they are prompted to let us know by pressing the ‘On the way’ button in their mobile app, triggering the start of tracking that officer's journey
- The client can then follow the progress of the officer on the way to the job in real time and see an updated ETA to give peace of mind they're on their way.
Where can I see it?
- Go to the View Jobs page
- Click the job information icon next to the relevant job
- You'll see a live job view with a status update and estimated arrival time
Why can't I see any live officer tracking?
Live officer tracking will only be visible for live jobs that are in progress.
