Guarding jobs follow a similar process to our on-demand bookings - With a few differences:
- The booking email will contain the pricing for the job (which won't be displayed in the CHASE portal)
- The booking is awarded to you on a first come, first serve basis. The faster you action the below, the more likely it will be that the business is awarded to yourself.
- Once you have confirmed the booking, it will remain in your 'un-confirmed bookings' tab for further action.
Firstly, when we book a guarding job, we will select multiple potential partners that can facilitate this booking. CHASE then automatically emails you with a summary of the booking, and a link through to our portal.
In order to accept and confirm the guarding shift, you must log into our CHASE web portal and accept the job using the 'accept or deny booking request' button.
Once accepted, it will notify the other partners that have been included in the same request that the job has been accepted by another partner (yourself).
By accepting the job within our portal, you are committing to providing the cover, therefore please only do this when you are confident that you can supply the resource.
Once the job is accepted, the job will remain in your un-confirmed bookings tab, where are you are then required to provide the details of the officer attending. You'll do this by clicking the 'provide guard details' button on your ops controller screen.
Pricing
For guarding shifts that are 8 hours or longer, the hourly price will be displayed (i.e. £11 per 60 minutes)
For guarding shifts that last less than 6 hours, we will still ensure you are paid for a minimum of 6 hours, and the pricing is therefore displayed as a fixed fee, that covers 'up to' 360 minutes (6 hours).
For example: £70 per 360 minutes
Any hours beyond the initial 360 minutes will be paid at an hourly rate of 6 hours / Fixed Fee:
£70 divided by (360 Minutes / 60 Minutes = 6 hours) = £11.66
