We're excited to introduce a new Electronic Daily Occurrence Book (eDOB) feature in the Chase app to enhance on-site reporting for security officers.
This tool lets officers log observations, incidents, and key actions during their shift, making all site activities visible to clients in real time.
Why This Matters
- Instant Client Visibility: All eDOB entries are immediately accessible to clients, enabling quick action on any concerns.
- Supplementing Existing Systems: While sites should continue using their current occurrence books, the eDOB offers additional logging capabilities that may not be available in clients' -existing systems.
- Efficient Record-Keeping: Officers can access the last 75 entries, ensuring smooth shift handovers and continuity.
How It Works
- Officers can review the past 24 hours of entries or create new logs directly in the Chase app.
- Logs may include shift handover notes, patrol records, control logs, visitor records, near-miss reports, and health & safety observations.
- Officers can attach photos to entries for clear, detailed documentation.
- Regular entries throughout each shift help maintain a thorough site record.
