Where necessary, in addition to the amount stated within your quotation, we may need to charge the following per property:
Aborted quotation - £150
For an initial quote, we will complete a free pre-survey, whereby we estimate the required hardware and installation requirements based on initial findings. The Smart Access agreement is signed based on the initial quote, subject to changes after a full technical survey.
Once the quote and terms are signed, we will send an engineer to complete a full technical survey. After this comprehensive survey, the value of the initial quote may change.
If you choose not to proceed at this stage (after the technical survey is complete, but before the installation is booked), then we may charge this fee to cover the costs of the engineer.
Aborted Installation - £300
If an installation is attempted, but fails for reasons that are reasonably within your control, we may charge this to cover the costs of our engineers re-attending your site to complete the installation.
Deinstallation - subject to quote
If you would like the hardware deinstalled from your property after the minimum period.
Warranty repair/replacement (within warranty) - Free
If we attend your property to repair or replace hardware, and the reason for the repair/replacement is deemed to be covered within the warranty guidelines of the agreement.
Warranty repair/replacement (out of warranty) - £150 call out + subject to quote
If we attend your property to repair or replace hardware, and the reason for the repair/replacement is not covered within the warranty guidelines of the agreement. We may charge for the call out fee separately to any additional costs required to rectify the issue (such as an additional engineer call-out, replacement hardware etc.)
